Ideation Workshop – Co-op Bank of Kenya

Description
Co-operative Bank of Kenya
November - December 2016
Co-op Bank of Kenya is a leading commercial bank in Kenya, that offers a wide range of innovative financial solutions to various customer segments, from retail banking to business and corporate banking.
The scope of work for this assignment included a design research to better understand the youth and how they interact with financial tools, as well as design a solution that will reduce customer attrition for the 5-28 year customer segment given that they had already invested significantly in technology but hadn't seen any changes. I co-facilitated a 3 day ideation workshop involving children and their parents, teens and young adults to co-design a solution.
The output from this was a report detailing insights and potential non-digital solutions, as well as mockups of a proposal mobile application targeting the youth in particular
